Ndidi Focused On World Cup, Dismisses Liverpool, Arsenal Speculation-2
"I'm currently in camp and
preparing for the World Cup. I'm
in high spirits and confident of
being fully fit for my team. We
want to do well at the World Cup
and a win in our first game is key to how far we'll go in the
competition," Ndidi told
completesportsnigeria.com. The former KRC Genk of Belgium
player expressed satisfaction at
the performance of his club last
season and is upbeat they can
build on it for next season. "We (Leicester City) tried our best
even though we didn't start very
brightly. However, at the end, I'm
satisfied with what we achieved.
We finished in ninth place and
ended the season stronger than we started it despite the ups and
downs that we went through," he
said. Ndidi also doused speculations
linking him with a move away
from the King Power Stadium
after he was heavily linked with
Premier League heavyweights
Liverpool and Arsenal.Source:Completesportsng
